Who we are

What we keep

• Students: name, email, roll or enrolment number, course, year of graduation, mobile number (optional), job preferences (job functions, cities, countries), your resume if you upload one, the vacancies you save or mark as applied, and offers you or your placement cell record.
• Placement officers: name, email, mobile number, and what you change in the placement-cell pages.
• Everyone: sign-in times and a log of security events (failed sign-ins, password resets) with the network address.
• Resume curation: the resume text and target vacancy you submit, and the curated result, kept so you can read it again. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we keep the order and payment reference, never card or bank details.

Why we keep it

Only to run this service, with your consent: to show you vacancies that match your preferences, to track your applications, to send your weekly job email (you can turn it off), to give your university's placement cell the progress and placement reports it needs (including for NIRF and NAAC returns), and to provide resume curation when you ask for it.

Who sees it

• Your university's placement cell sees its own students' profiles, applications and offers. No other university does.
• We never sell personal data and never send it to an employer. You apply on the employer's own page yourself.
• Resume curation sends the resume text and target vacancy you submit to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the curated version. We do not send your name, email or roll number with it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open and your university holds a licence. When you delete your account, your profile, resume, applications and curations are deleted; offers already reported to your university stay in that year's placement report without your contact details. Security logs are kept for one year.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can see and correct your data (on your profile page), withdraw consent and delete your account (on your profile page), and raise a grievance with us at the contact above. We reply within 30 days.
